Free Class 11 Notes (1st Year FSc)

The jump from Matric to 1st Year is the hardest step

Almost every student says the same thing in the first month of Class 11: the books got bigger, the chapters got longer, and the questions stopped being direct. They are right. First Year FSc is a genuine step up from Matric, for pre-medical, pre-engineering and general science students alike, and the students who struggle most are usually those who keep studying the Matric way — reading passively and hoping it stays. This page will collect Class 11 notes built for the new level: deeper explanations, worked examples before exercises, and the patience to show intermediate steps that college textbooks often skip.

Choosing and settling into a stream is part of this year too. Pre-medical students carry Biology as their central subject, pre-engineering students carry Mathematics, and Computer Science students build a different foundation again — but Physics, Chemistry and English are shared burdens for nearly everyone. Notes here will be organised by subject so each stream can go straight to its own load, and each subject section will explain its topics in simple English first, keeping the real terminology that FSc marking depends on. Difficult does not have to mean badly explained.

Settle into First Year with a routine

  • Attend to a chapter the same week it is taught in class; catching up a month later costs three times the effort.
  • Convert textbook paragraphs into your own short notes as you go — in First Year, the book alone is too much to revise from.
  • Practise numerical and long questions in writing, not by reading solutions and nodding.
  • Make a formula and terms file from the first month and add to it weekly; by exam season it becomes your fastest revision tool.

Coming soon — no notes published yet in this section. No Class 11 notes have been published on AllFree Assets yet. The site is growing upward from Class 9, where Mathematics notes are already live exercise by exercise. Class 11 notes will appear on this page by subject as they are finished, each one free to read and free to download as a PDF, with no account needed.

Students waiting for First Year material can still use this site now: the Class 9 Mathematics notes linked from the Class 9 page are a solid revision base for the algebra and geometry that First Year teaching assumes you already know.
