How to Measure Blood Pressure Accurately User Guide for All-in-One Upper Arm Blood Pressure Monitor
Step 1: Preparation
Rest: Sit quietly and relax for at least 5 to 10 minutes before the measurement.
Avoid Stimulants: Do not drink coffee, alcohol, smoke, or exercise for 30 minutes prior to use.
Clothing: Remove thick clothing or tight sleeves. For the most accurate results, measure on bare skin.
Step 2: Applying the Cuff
Slide In: Put your left arm through the cuff loop.
Position: Place the device on your upper arm. The bottom edge of the cuff should be approximately 2–3 cm (about 1 inch) above your elbow crease.
Orientation: Rotate the device so the display screen is facing you. You should be able to read the numbers easily while sitting.
Tightness: Fasten the Velcro securely. It should be snug but comfortable—allow enough space to fit one finger between the cuff and your arm.
Step 3: Correct Posture
Sit upright in a chair with your back supported.
Keep both feet flat on the floor and do not cross your legs.
Rest your arm on a table with your palm facing up.
Key Requirement: Ensure the monitor is at the same height as your heart. If the table is too low, use a cushion to elevate your arm to heart level.
Step 4: Measurement & App Sync
Start: Press the “Start/Stop” button on the device. The cuff will inflate automatically.
Stay Still: Do not talk or move your arm during the process, as this can affect accuracy.
Data Sync: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone and the App is open. Once the measurement is complete, your Systolic, Diastolic, and Pulse readings will automatically sync to the App for tracking.
Important Notes for Best Results
Consistency: Try to measure at the same time every day (e.g., in the morning before medication).
Average Readings: We recommend taking 2 measurements, spaced 1 minute apart, and calculating the average for better accuracy.
